For today’s performance you can expect original music but don't let that scare you. Lorna’s music is uniquely hers but easy to understand as her focus is on the commonalities we all share. She has been writing, arranging and performing her own music for several decades. “I’ve always written, it is my first instrument”, explains the composer. Her music contains elements of the classical music she studied for the first 3 decades of her life as well as folk and Jazz. Lorna has studied with Canadian composers Gregory Levin, Allen Bell, and pianist David Braid as well as, Don Thompson, Phil Dwyer and Hugh Fraser and Maria Schneider, to name a few.For today’s performance you can expect original music but don't let that scare you.
